Diamond View Cottage is a large cottage built in the traditional style, one of a group of 8 cottages on 11 acres. The Cottage has 5 bedrooms and can accommodate 9 people.

The cottage is separate and secluded with its own large private garden and decked patio. It is equipped with all modern facilities to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. For the children there is a playroom full of games, toys, books, TV and films. Included in the house is SKY SATELLITE TV with all the sports channels and also Free WiFi internet access. The property is on an elevated site enjoying spectacular views of the majestic Connemara landscape including Diamond Mountain.

Located 2 minutes walk from Letterfrack Village with its supermarket, shops and lively pubs (featuring traditional music on many evenings) so an evening out is just a stroll away.

Activities

The property is on an elevated site enjoying spectacular views of the majestic Connemara landscape, including Diamond Mountain.

The cottage is adjacent to Connemara National Park,circa 2000 hectares and a walkers dream. It is close to Cleggan village where regular ferries service beautiful and historic Inishbofin Island with its unspoiled flora and fauna.

Nearby you will find Renvyle with its wonderful beaches, Kylemore Abbey, the spectacular gothic convent and Victorian botanical gardens, and the bustling town of Clifden, the "capital of Connemara".

Beautiful Letterfrack village is in the heart of Connemara. The entrance to Connemara National Park is based here, leading to over 2000 hectares of rugged mountain walks, lakes and bogs teaming with wildlife, birds and rare plant life. The park is open all year, it's well worth a visit and it's FREE!

There's plenty of life Letterfrack village, well known as one of the most musical in the area. You never know when you might come across a session of traditional music in one of the pubs. Two of the village's three pubs serve a selection of meals. For fine cuisine you could try the award winning Rosleague Manor Hotel only 5 minutes drive away.

If you prefer to cater for yourself Veldons supermarket in the village has all the daily requirements and Clifden, 15kms away has 3 supermarkets and a good selection of speciality shops.

The entire area is a paradise for walking, fishing, beaches, cycling, horse riding, or maybe just sitting and enjoying the stunning scenery of Connemara!
