Wifi was a little slow.

Apartment was spacious,quiet and bed comfortable in a lovely setting up the hill with views of the sea in the distance. Clyde the owner was extremely helpful and was on hand to rectify anything.

Clyde and his partner Carina could not do enough for us. From picking us up from the airport (we were late also), to helping us get a car, giving us guidance and advice about the island and just being the perfect hosts. The apartment was lovely and comfortable, it felt like a home from home. We spent time in the jacuzzi, which was lovely and Clyde only needed a days notice to prepare it. They where welcoming and sociable to family members who visited. nothing was too much to ask of them, we where greeted every morning with a smile and made to feel comfortable at every moment of our visit. My daughter (7), spoke to them like she had known them all her life and still mentions them now. It may be a few years before i visit the beautiful island of Dominica again, and even though i have family there, this is where i will be staying and hope to see the completion of the exciting changes that Clyde was developing during our visit. I would like to thank Clyde and Carrina for helping us to have the best time in Dominica and being a big part of our much loved holiday, see you both soon.

Diamond view is situated in a beautiful location boasting idyllic views of the sea and true Dominican nature. The accommodation is excellent with a home from home feel to it. I would recommend you get a vehicle as situated on a bit of a steep hill. Clyde and Carina are beautiful people who are always there If you need a helping hand with anything. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is thinking about staying here.

the pictures don't do it justice, we couldn't wait to get back every day to watch the sun set. if we go back we will stay there and a new suite is being built that will be even better.

This was the second time we were at Diamond View Cottage. In between we traveled around on Dominica for more than a week. We have seen many other accommodations, but Diamond View Cottage is the best. The location is quiet with a nice view, but still close to town. The owner is very friendly and offers wonderful hospitality. The apartment is well maintained, clean and has all the facilities that are needed. The price quality ratio is very good.

At the beginning of January, I stayed 2 nights in a Diamond View cottage, together with a friend. We booked 1 day in advance, because we were supposed to stay somewhere else at that time. We didn't like the other place and were glad Clyde, the ever smiling owner, still had a cottage available. The house was very spacious and clean! Clyde built everything himself and he did a great job. The cottages are located high above sea level, so you have a fantastic view. It's located in a quiet place just South of Roseau, we could only hear the noise of the spring peepers at night. We rented a 4x4 to explore the wonderful island of Dominica, and a car turned out to be useful to get up to the cottage. I really recommend this accommodation, as well for friends as for couples and families!

The appartement is fully equipted, spacious, clean and well decorated! The view over the garden and on to the sea are marvellous! Espacially from your hemmock! Clyde is a very good host, friendly and very helpfull! We had a great time at Dominica and staying at Diamond view cottages was a huge contribution to this!

Breathtaking view of sea and mountains. Quiet and all nature surrounds you which make every day an oases of pease. Excellent service. Clean and comfortable cabin and only 10 minutes from the City Roseau.

The access road to Diamond view is "interesting"; extremely steep, scattered pot holes, suspension killing drain ditches that are partially hidden (all of the above applies to complete Dominica!). It you are not a confident driver, or you plan to walk to / from the main road, you might consider another accomodation.

The view over the Carribean sea is fabolous!

You are on a safe distance from downtown Roseau road noise and pollution

Very friendly manager who made the stay worthwile!
